INK is an online source for students interested in Graphic Design started by two talented Salt Lake Community College Visual Art & Design alumni, Casey Kim and Nadya Bratt.

INK is now totally supported by volunteer Visual Art & Design Graphic Design students and alumni. We strive to help members get off on the right foot in their design and art careers. INK encourages creative and professional growth by providing access to job information, resources, advice, critiques, portfolio reviews, activities and an environment to create genuine connections with other visual art students and creative professionals.

Kerry Gonzales, Associate Professor & Graphic Design Specialization Representative at Salt Lake Community College is the mentor for INK and will continue to work with current and alumni VAD Graphic Design students to promote and support this group.

Jill Sullivan, SLCC VAD Graphic Design student, is the current site manager.

INK supports student and professional membership in AIGA (national) as well as AIGA/SLC. Founded in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design and is now known simply as “AIGA, the professional association for design.”

INK membership is free. http://inkslcc.wordpress.com/

Thanks to Peterson Timothy for creating a fantastic ambigram for the INK logo.

Our undying appreciation for the talent & skill of former INK site managers:

2013 – 2014 / Bryan Holbrook
2012 – 2013 / Kevin Hole
2010 – 2012 / Casey Kim & Nadya Bratt

Without your help INK would not continue!
