En plein air is a French expression, which means “in the open air” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors.
On Saturday, September 12 beginning at 8 am, artists were invited by Bountiful Davis Art Center to paint outside the Main Street area of Bountiful. Various artists also sold artwork from booths.
After a day of painting, completed paintings were turned in by 3 pm for an opening reception that evening. Paintings were then auctioned off as part of the festivities at BDAC.
