“The City Library’s ninth annual Alt Press Fest will celebrate zines, all forms of alternative press, and the awesome people who create it in Salt Lake City. Visit with local artists and see their wares, watch prints be made with a steam roller, create origami and sumi ink illustrations, and take part in bookbinding and zine-making workshops.
Before the Fest, be sure to meet with zinester and DIYer Alex Wrekk on July 6 at 7pm at the Main Library’s Level 4 Conference Room. Wrekk will discuss her zine series Brainscan, which she has been creating for the last 20 years.”
