Graphic Design Intern / Paramount Acceptance

Paramount Acceptance is an established software and finance company in the health and fitness industry. We provide software packages and member management services to fitness centers all across the country.

We are looking for a local intern to aid in our software design efforts. Exposure or experience with web apps is desired. This position will also help conduct research of how the software should function from the users’ perspective.

Responsibilities
• Design graphics, user interface, and other elements for software apps
• Participate in brainstorming and content development
• Be a user experience advocate

Required Skills
• Adobe Photoshop Suite of products
• HTML
• CSS
• Any Javascript or AngularJS is a bonus

PRODUCTION ARTIST – PRIORITY DISPATCH, SALT LAKE CITY, UT JOB SUMMARY:
This position designs art and layouts for company products and materials.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Makes edits and changes to files; coordinates file layouts in line with release dates
• Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; arranges layout based upon available space, esthetic design concepts, and existing style sheet
• Communicates production-related information and timelines between all resources committed to each product release
• Compares the printer blueline to the final version of the working document for errors or inconsistencies
• Aids in implementing and maintaining Priority Dispatch Corporation and International Academies of Emergency Dispatch standards across all products and supporting materials
• Helps keep sufficient product inventory by printing smaller amounts of products on an in-house printer
• Ensures artwork and approval forms are stored and archived properly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Thorough working knowledge of InDesign and other graphic designing software in a MAC environment
• Meticulous attention to detail; commitment to producing quality product; deadline conscious
• Ability to work autonomously
• Eagerness for acquiring new knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years production experience

OPPORTUNITY: NCIT Graphic Design Intern Needed

OPPORTUNITY: Technician II, Digital Designer (Part Time)

Job Summary: 
The Technician II/ Digital Designer will plan, evaluate, and produce various digital solutions for email marketing campaigns, web presence and digital signage.
The digital designer will collaborate with other marketing staff, including the creative team, marketing managers, interactive services team and copywriter to produce digital media College advertising, web pages and PR campaigns.
The digital designer will also be required to analyze and report on digital outreach campaigns, and may be required to make strategic recommendations related to outreach channels. The digital designer must also maintain and report on databases and outreach lists.
Strong understanding of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, SEO and Cascade CMS is required.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
The digital designer may be required to assist the marketing managers with training and program administration related to third-party email marketing service (EMS). Strong understanding of email best practices, UX email designs, and trends is required.
Additionally, the digital designer may be assigned print design projects as needed, and will assist in the development of media kits and other marketing collateral for ad campaigns, presentations, events and classes. Assistance with special events may be required.
Strong background in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat Pro is required to complete daily project assignments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs is also expected, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Collaborates on the development of and production of quality advertising materials for Academic & Career Advising activities and events, including posters, flyers, mailings, newspaper ads, table tents, etc. adhering to SLCC branding standards and Institutional Marketing guidelines.
