May’s theme is COMMITMENT
A commitment is a promise to show up whether you’re having a good or bad day.

It’s a behavior and mindset that signifies the posture of a professional. It’s about saying yes with your whole heart.

A creative life is built on the commitments you make to projects and people. It can feel like a leap of faith. But is that not the very essence of leading a creative life?

This month’s global exploration of Commitment was chosen by our Vienna chapter and illustrated by Florine Glück. Thank you to our global partners MailChimpAdobe, and WordPress.com for their ongoing support of the CreativeMornings community.

2013 Graduates of Excellence

Commencement is always a special event at SLCC, and this year the College is seeking a student from each School, who represents excellence. Each selected student will be featured in a video that will be played during Commencement (therefore, students must be willing to be on camera). Applications can be downloaded with the attached link and are due to your dean no later than Monday February 4th, 2013.

But be aware – by signing up, you’re making a commitment to be involved in all stages of the project development, so if you have scheduling conflicts that will significantly affect your participation, but still want to take part, please e-mail inkslcc@gmail.com to discuss arrangements.

Thanks!
