Check out the Summer/Fall 2019 SLCC Magazine highlighting successful alumni. Talin, a 2004 Visual Art & Design / AAS Graphic Design alumnus was interviewed:
“Art vs artist. I thought this might be a good way to show transition from student to professional.”
“I had a dream that I had a pink cockatoo named Rosie so I was convinced I needed a pet bird. Not as convinced, my husband told me I could get another dog instead, so now I have a Boston Terrier named Rosie. This is the first bird that came to mind when I was illustrating tropical birds for #cpwildheart“
“I got lucky with a little Sunday night inspiration:) It has been a productive Sunday!“
“This video is dear to my heart. My last big project with Epic, and I’m really happy with it and thankful to the people that helped out. If your looking to nominate a parent, friend or family member for a chance to win free LASIK, do it!”
Melissa Healy Turner
“Hi there! I’m Missy Turner, an illustrator and aspiring children’s book author/artist. I enjoy Harry Potter trivia (go Hufflepuff!), British miniseries, baking, and being a goon with my family. Thanks for following!” #meettheartist #artvsartist
From Adobe Creative Cloud

CREATE WITH JASON SEILER
March 16, 2016
10:00 am – 11:00 am PDT (UTC-07:00)
The work of in-demand portrait artist Jason Seiler has been featured in Rolling Stone, Time, and many other publications. He frequently works in a caricature style, but much of his portraiture might be described as “better than lifelike”: Seiler finds and draws out the things that make his subjects unique. In this live session, Jason will give us an “over-the-shoulder” look at his creation process—discussing how he approaches a portrait assignment, showing how he works in Adobe Photoshop, and sharing tips and techniques.
