“Super honored to have a SLUG Mag article on my lil ol art project. THANK YOU!”
“I’m grateful I was blessed with creativity. I love designing party printables, I love drawing and doodling, I love photography, I love decorating sugar cookies with royal icing, I love hand lettering and creating logos, and I love coloring.”
“So excited to see this design come together and can’t wait to try the yummy apple butter!”
“I designed this label for Chase’s tomatillo salsa. He grew the tomatillos and peppers, and the salsa was cooked and canned on Nov 1, Dia de Los Muertos. We decided to give it a fox sugar skull in honor of the holiday. Happy with how the stickers turned out, thanks @alphagraphics_salt_lake_city!”
“‘Nothing lasts” Preserved leaves, acrylic, and mod podge on canvas.”
“I’m so excited to get my booth set up @saltandhoneymarket @fashionplacemall tonight. I have to thank my husband for working super hard and last minute to get this built and help me tag all of my products. Couldn’t have done it without him.”
“Frozen…”
“Early on in the pandemic I got to design a magazine cover to represent the crazy times we’re living in. Then months later—times are still crazy—and I was asked to make a new fun cover with corresponding graphics for an event. Then, I wrote a short little thing for my work’s blog about that second project. Not usually a writer kind of guy, but you can check it out if you want to.” https://coateskokes.com/bringing-the-future-to-life/
“Today I am grateful for sketching, it’s a way to not only show my ideas but also find a fun escape enjoying where a new or fictional idea will take me. Grateful for the fun and challenge that it gives me.”
“For those of you who don’t follow us on Instagram, Magen will be donating 100% of the proceeds she makes from sales in her web shop today and tomorrow to COVID relief here in Salt Lake. If you’ve ever had your eye on any of her art, now is a good time to grab it.”

“It snowed and feels cold enough to be winter so I guess it’s not too soon to share a peek at one of my holiday cards. They will be available next month. I’m just busy prepping all sorts of cards and gift items for the @saltandhoneymarket Christmas market now. I am not a huge fan of traditional Christmas colors so this is how I ease myself into the holidays.”

4. Future Day Saints: Welcome to New Zion by Matt Page: Everything about this book is great: the creator did everything on his own; the art is the best (I’m particularly fond of the various depictions of “the Celestial Son”); the stories are light and inspiring; the physical quality of the book is sturdy, and the art is the best! You can order this book from his Etsy page: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EPluribusMormon.
“Hudson Parkinson Aka @kayamir_lockrite created a new plague doctor to add to his October series. Beautifully made with black, white and gold. This one definitely has a Renaissance feel to it!” ~ Hudson
“Inktober Day #17. Only and joy and a half late! I’ve always loved drawing with graphite. Over the last few years I’ve spent more time working on my pen and ink skills. Every now and then I’ll merge the two mediums and I’ve always loved it. So I’m thinking I’ll be using more of my Inktober days to experience with pen and graphite together.” ~ Katrina
“Vacation means more time for art.”

“And now for something completely different… A bit more moody, a bit more fall. This is from the Marigold collection, a fall release for @maggiehdesign . This was my first collection with Maggie and it was so much fun designing so many beautiful and whimsical elements. Lots of florals and critters!
I’ll share more in the coming weeks, but in the meantime you can find the Marigold collection online.”

“Launched, baby! 🌟🌟 Belle et Noir is a women’s boutique in the Greater Los Angeles Area, with a mission to bring focus back on helping women love what they wear, and love how they feel. I got to help redefine the direction of the brand with logo design and a restructuring of the online store – in the next few days I’ll be sharing more assets that I have created! Enjoy this little beaut of a logo.”

#UIdesign #websitedesign #branding #graphicdesign
“Fresh off the block, the new Belle et Noir Boutique website! The key focal points that make the site shine is the photography and the polished, clean, sans-serif typography.
The goal was to create a brand vision, a personality that shoppers could get behind – and lay the foundation for the branding to grow and evolve into a recognized name brand clothing and product line.”
“Finally painted on a rock that I’ve had for at least 20 years! I decided to put it in a flower bed in my back yard, so that helped me decide what to put on it. Working on my hand lettering skills!”

“Something I haven’t really mentioned here is that I battle a few mental illnesses. The past several years have been quite the struggle and let’s just say I stopped creating. As I’m healing, I’m trying to find my creative self again. It’s a fight, but I’m working on it. It’s such an accomplishment for me when I create something I’m happy with.”
