Derek & Brighton Ballard – Neuer Geist

“Calling all Salt Lake City creatives – did you know that we are Utah’s only open #risograph studio? 📠📜 Risograph printing is an eclectic artform that mimics screenprinting in format, with quirks and textures all its own. If you’ve been interested in risograph, shoot us an email!”

Lacee Siler Black

“It has come to my attention many dear friends are unclear about I do every day for work. I thought I might spend a little time over the next few weeks clearing up some of that confusion.

Over the last approximately two years I have been working as a product designer for the Pink Paislee team at American Crafts. I have designed primarily scrapbooking lines including everything from paper to stickers and other embellishments. I have worked on 10 collections in total since I started work there.

“The final designs for the pop up banners!”

Ruben De La Torre

“Don’t know how I feel about it, but it was fun to do and good practice since I haven’t touched some cans in a while.”

Cassidy Demkov

“Just another flowery pattern for a project I’ve been working on.” 🙃

Katrina & Hudson Flores

“Hudson and I currently have a few pieces of our work hanging at the Tooele Library with the Tooele County Arts Guild and many other great artists. I took first place for my oil painting “Ethereal” and Hudson took second place for his Beautiful digital painting “Tavern of Lore”. He also entered another digital painting of the legend of Zelda. We love our art community! Go check out the art at the library, it’s up till the end of October!”

Kylie Gillette

“We’re at DownEast in Millcreek this weekend!” 💖

Heleman Martinez

“Sharing this brochure design I did a little while ago for a client wanting to advertise the Construction Loan Department of RanLife Home Loans. I had the opportunity to do some custom icons too😁 Thanks James!”

“Yesterday, I desperately needed a leave behind for an interview the next day, so in 3 hours I made a couple dotted grid sketch books using bright neon poster board, my printer and a couple staples. I’m pretty happy with how my ‘bright idea’ turned out and they liked it too.”

Brett Mellor

“Sharing some more designs, this was a proposal for a studio fan look to match some of the new aesthetics of studio or set lighting for those with more flexible environments that don’t want a ceiling fan.”

Jennifer Terry

“Well hello there! Just wanted to show everyone something that I’ve been working on since January and I excited that it’s finally done! It’s my first time sculpting something so big out of polymer clay so there was definitely a learning curve. What do you think?”

My final project for my drawing class as well as the largest drawing I’ve ever made. Graphite on paper 38×50 inches.”

“A new photo to the album: Arte.”

Lettering Practice for Today.

I added the crown in between the L and C to fill the space. I like the idea of a broken crown might have to incorporate it into an illustration.
“Letter ‘S’ Study for a project I’m going to work on.”
