Obake Style and Sugar Skull Designs invite you to the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll reception of the Mr. Marrow Custom Skull Show on Friday, October 19th.

Two local toymakers, Josh and Michael Baldi of Sugar Skull Designs, have created a line of articulated plastic skulls. Local artists, including SLCC VAD alumni Magen Mitchell of Obake Style, and Derek & Brighton Ballard of Neuer Geist, have customized these Mr. Marrow toys and their pieces will be on display at the Urban Arts Gallery from October 2nd through November 4th and run in conjunction with their Shadow Realms gallery show.

Dianna Totland, a Salt Lake Community College VAD Graphic Design alumni, currently works as an in-house graphic designer for Silen6 Commercial Arts, Muster Media and freelances for SLUG Magazine. Always staying busy, Dianna also runs her own shop on ETSY called Prints 4 Hue where she creates posters inspired by typography and illustration. In the little free-time that remains, Dianna works with other mediums of art such as watercolor and acrylic paintings.

Dianna’s passion for art and the community has led her to be a part of Salt Lake Gallery Stroll. For the entire month of April you can find Dianna’s work on display throughout Abyss Body Piercing located on 245 East 300 South in downtown Salt Lake City. Join her there on Gallery Stroll night Friday, April 15th at 6 PM where she will be presenting her work.
